is the photosig downgrading the quality of the image? i can see from a different monitor the jpeg artifacts recently that never been seen before though the max file is 382 but it never happened to me before...Thanks vans

It can happen, but nothing has changed here recently. A different monitor, depending on its setup, can certainly show things not seen in others. To get the best resizing, see this tutorial.

As the file size is larger than the 360KB maximum the system will have automatically resized your image so this might help to explain your problem.

I have recently found that my installation of Firefox 12 resizes many Photosig images, to about 80% of their proper size. This, of course, results in a loss of detail and contrast.
It only happens whilst browsing. If I save the complete page and then view the saved page then the image is rendered at the correct size. As far as I can tell, IE 9 always displays images at their full size.
Are you using Firefox?. If so then you may well be seeing the same problem. Is it just me that has this problem or is everyone seeing it?
