10 months, 80 emails, 8 phone calls and 3 meetings to schedule 3 portraits. Working with a committee is hard work.

Also a good explanation of why photography isn't a straight, normal-lookin', hourly gig.

I haven't fired up the camera and I'm already exhausted by this project. Now I have to put all the BS of the past 10 months behind me, remember what my vision was for these images, pull it all together and produce magnificent, creative spectacular, environmental portraits. Shot indoors instead of outdoors at a different time of the year and time of day than was originally planned with different scenarios. I think I'll be using Speedlights. Joe's still in town, maybe he'll come assist me ;-)

There's a rule for finding the collective intelligence of a committee; take the number 100 and divide by the number of people on the committee. Works every time and proven by research ;-) It's guaranteed to let you know what you're dealing with.

Committee: The only life form known to mankind which has more than six legs, an indeterminate lifespan ... and no brain.

I'm sure you've heard the one - an elephant is a horse designed by a committee.
