Sounds like great fun -- but I can't make it, I don't think. Just think this site is so much fun and discovering something like this just adds to the enjoyment for a "newbie" like me.

Oh how I wish I could join all of you, not only is this one of my favorite areas of the USA, I know I would learn so much from the other photographers. One question, what is the mode of travel? Does each member provide their own?

Travel will be by road, the locations we will visit are within driving distance of each other. Your transportation to and from Phoenix, and throughout the trip is up to you. A few people should have their own or rented vehicles, and usually there are some free seats if you're willing to help pay for fuel.

If you think you will be able to make it, email me your contact info. I will add you to the list and you can get in touch with others to make arrangments.

Sorry, not many of us Americans get two weeks off in a row.

Of course Tony. Those who cannot take that much time off are welcome to come along for any portion of the full trip.

I've done this exact trip - and would do it again in a heartbeat if I could get away. Don't miss the opportunity to photograph in the Grand Staircase area between Moab and Bryce. Many days' worth of subject matter there. Also Goblin Valley State Park is right in that area (Hanksville Utah) - also worth a stop.

I live in Phoenix and would like to join for Saturday and Sunday. How do I meet up with the group? Likely I'd stay in the RV with family rather than a hotel. I appreciate the opportunity to meet and shoot with so many wonderful folks :)

Lynn, that would be great! I'll be sending an email to everyone soon so we can get in touch with each other and plan all the details.
