If I'm asking for more critiques than it is because in this specific case I dind't find them enough. It's not the number that counts, but the content of the critiques. I'm not saying that they aren't good, but I'd like to see other aspects of the photo critiqued.
Best regards - José Ramos

you gave only 7 critiques in sept. you already have 3 on that photo. you've uploaded 2 on october. and the critiques you got on both of them, you didn't return any.

Well, I wasn't definitely expecting to be inspected by one of the always present photosig "cops" with my request... There are times when I think it is necessary to make the requester "conscious" that he doesn't have the right to be requesting a critique, specially when we see that that person doesn't even respect the 1:3 ratio (even tough it is not obligatory to respect it)...
Any way, what has the fact of me writing a small number of critiques in sept, of already having 3 in this photo, and not returning the critiques I got in my october photos, have to do with my request? Do you happen to judge psig users with the facts which are convenient to you? Worst than that, I think you spend excessive time alerting psig users for aspects which aren't even listed in psig terms of use, abusing of a power you don't have.
I agree with your arguments many times but sorry, this one won't cut it...

ooh, i'm a cop now... cool. personally i don't care about ratios. i just look at the first page of critiques and when they were given and compare that with what was uploaded recently.
you requested crit's for a photo that already has them - offered to pay them back, but none were given and you have 3 on there. it's not listed in an official term, but it is annoying that people ask for stuff and really don't contribute the way they want it in return. i have now power to abuse, so i don't know what your talking about there. and of course you don't agree with me on this - your the target...

and?
he has less pictures up then i do, i've been here for a long while and sent many pictures. i don't look at ratio's, they don't tell you anything. i look at the most recent.

What I'm saying is that I don't think you have the right to use the last two months as an argument to state that I don't contribute...
An by the way, it is not because I'm the target that I won't agree with you. That's the same as saying that I didn't justify my point of view, being the only problem the fact that I'm the target. Well, anyway, some people gave me fantastic critiques after this request in the forum, which really added to the ones that already existed, and now I'll gladly return them.

Jose's latest work.
I'm leaving thoughts on the image. But Jose: if there are particular elements you'd like critiqued, feel free to ask specific questions and people will try to comment.

Well, the most recent critiques focused on almost everything I needed to know. The only thing that is missing is the fact that I think that the mud in the background (the one that is list by the sun) has lot of white points and a bad definition, and I wasn't able to avoid this in post processing. With unsharp mask it only got obviously worse.
I still can't manage to make those pristine landscape photos, but that's probably also fault of my machine, which is not a DSLR (Konica Minolta A2). Anyway, I must really buy a grad filter to be able to achieve better landscape images when facing the sun.

I'm sorry Augusto... My message has the link for the photo, and I also state that I'll gladly return the critiques, but only the first sentence is appearing... When I click on "edit" my original post, I can see the text that refers to the link but it doesn't appear when I submit. I must be doing something wrong... My apologies...
