How does advertising on photoSIG work?

We run most of our ads through the Tribal Fusion advertising network. Every photoSIG page has space for a standard 468x60 or 728x90 banner at the top. We also have a standard 120x600 tower ad space on the main page and the photo pages. We are willing to negotiate other sizes or placements.

Tribal Fusion's ad management system gives you a lot of control over your ad campaign. You can configure how aggressively Tribal Fusion places your ads, limit your ads to certain geographical regions or to a certain number of impressions per user per day, manage your ad graphics, and view up-to-the-second statistics, all through Tribal Fusion's web site.

Tribal Fusion supports JPEG, GIF (static or animated), and Flash.

How much does it cost?

Tribal Fusion is a CPM network, which means that you pay for each "impression" (viewing) of your ad. Prices are quoted in CPM, or cost per thousand impressions. Typical prices are $6.00 CPM for placement on photoSIG only, $4.00 CPM for placement across several photography sites, and $1.00 CPM for placement throughout the Tribal Fusion network.

How do I get started?

If you would like to advertise on photoSIG through Tribal Fusion, then please contact Erin Pearson (or 510-250-5546) at Tribal Fusion for more information.

If you are an advertising network or cannot advertise through Tribal Fusion, then you may contact us directly.

What separates everyday snapshots from works of photographic art? Browse photoSIG to learn the finer points of distinction.

There are lots of sites offering this [photo critique] function, but the sheer number of people using this particular website, if its own statistics are to be believed, is staggering. . . An excellent site and one of the best photo websites I've come across.

The pictorial and critiquing qualities are refreshingly high.

We've uncovered a wonderful site for those shutterbugs in the Lockergnome community.

Congratulations on the creation of an excellent forum. I've been involved in others and your format is far superior.

My wife is wishing you dead as she is having to use threats of physical violence to get me away from photoSIG.
